Description of project

Prepare Evaluative Framework (Conceptual and Theoretical) for Second Phase of the Evaluation of Paris Declaration. The assignment focused on four central stages:

  1. Analysis of key concepts and causal relationships in the PD, including analysis of the evolution of the concepts and relationships related to aid and effectiveness agenda
  2. Literature review in relation to core principles and causal relationships. Possible core principles of the PD, aid effectiveness and development effectiveness.
  3. Critical discussion of core principles, including aid effectiveness, and causal relationship, including; (i) PD conceptual clarity; (ii) realism of suggestions and assumptions; (iii) robustness of assumed causal relationships; (iv) identification of possible missing links; and (v) possible unintended consequences.
  4. Examination of emerging findings from the first phase of the PD Evaluation Process.
