What are Programme evaluations

Programme evaluations offer information for organizations and donors over accountability and learning. They are usually conducted in the middle of a project or at the end, and serve to influence operations and strategic decision-making and also decisions for future operations. Programme evaluations assess the performance and results of the programme or project and also identify lessons learned and good practices and highlight areas for learning.
