As of October, 2009 about 7,000 of the 150,000 of the people displaced from the war in Yemen live in the Mazraq IDP (Internally Displaced Person) camp near the town of Harudh, close to the Saudi border. Since renewed fighting began in early August, entire villages across northern Yemen have been abandoned.
