Community recovery and reconstruction partnership (CRRP) staff will work together with communities to improve communal water and sanitation infrastructure at owner-driven housing sites. While rebuilding tsunami-damaged homes has been a high priority for many organizations, the wider needs of affected communities have sometimes been overlooked. The Red Cross Red Crescent is directly addressing this issue by working in partnership with communities and local authorities to develop water and sanitation solutions at a local level.
