16 Aug 2007, Canete, Peru, — A man sits outside his home, which collapsed, after a 7.9 degree Richter scale earthquake hit the Peruvian coast. Al least 337 people died and around 1,300 other were injured in the earthquake. Ica, Pisco and Canete cities were the most affected places.
