DARA presented the Humanitarian Response Index 2010 findings in an event hosted by the CSIS, May 17th 2011, Washington DC.
During the event The Politicisation of Aid, Ross Mountain, DARA Director General, and Philip Tamminga, Head of Good Humanitarian Donorship/Humanitarian Response Index Initiative, discussed the HRI 2010 findings, which alerted to a growing politicisation and militarisation of humanitarian aid, as well as trends in global and US humanitarian donorship.
