DARA has a clear vision, strong leadership, long-term objectives and plans for growth. In order to achieve our objectives, in addition to specific funding for our programmes, we are also seeking core support for our organization to:
- Support sustained growth in impact for The Humanitarian Response Index, the Climate Vulnerability Initiative and the Risk Reduction Index.
- Invest in capacity building for new programming initiatives, strengthening expertise and attracting specialized talent for the areas of climate change, risk reduction and humanitarian aid.
- Broaden DARA’s policy influence and reach in networks, developing high impact outreach initiatives.
- Support operating costs in a critical funding environment.
