With field and policy expertise in more than 50 countries, DARA offers evaluation of humanitarian aid, technical assistance and training. We specialize in real-time, system-wide, impact, policy and programme evaluations. Our aim is to improve the humanitarian sector’s ability to respond to humanitarian crises through better learning and accountability.
Through our humanitarian aid evaluations, we help international organizations and governments understand how
their programmes contribute to improving the lives of people affected by disasters and conflicts.
Our approach combines rigorous desk and field research, and participatory methods to identify strengths and areas for improvement. We provide forward-looking and practical recommendations to maximise the effectiveness of aid efforts.
